16 March 1984 Around 2200 Nykoping W2M, Finland 
UFO like bowl, lit from inside through small windows, larger than moon, yellow copper-like color, like "a new polished pan." Flew from southwest toward witnesses, against prevailing wind. Nearby airports closed.
A flying disc was observed. Multiple independent witnesses. One yellow dome-shaped object was observed in clear weather by five experienced witnesses for over five minutes (Krantz). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
