ATC incident.
Two F-4 Phantom jets with AIM-9 missiles scrambled. EM: Jet #1 lost all instruments, Jet #2 lost weapon control. Disk changing colors and shape when first detected. Third object descended vertically, landed. Objects were tracked by radar and sighted visually. Electromagnetic effects were noted. Three changing color discs, about 300 feet across, were observed by more than six male military witnesses, two of them experienced observors, in a warplane for 120 minutes (Perouzi, Houssain).
