In October 1975 Around 2100 Otis, Colorado , USA 
Cigar with many indentations across bottom, rows and rows of multicolored lights, very large, minimum distance 100 feet overhead, speed under 50mph. Sighting happened at height of cattle mutilations.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored cigar-shaped object, of huge size, around 100 feet away, was observed in overcast weather by two witnesses, a married couple, on the prairie for five minutes (Jackson, Bill and Cheryl). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
