Red and green lights flying in formation, over tree line to right, shape of acorn. Suddenly lights went out, replace by three searchlights lit whole area. No sound, 100 feet away, lights out, UFO moving rapidly to the .
Objects were sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. More than one multi-colored acorn-shaped object was observed by seven witnesses on a highway (Kramer, Ralph). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
