Rhomboid array of lights, two bright headlights, two small green, low humming at close distance, width of football field. Many other reports to police.
An object was sighted by multiple independent witnesses that had an appearance and aerobatic performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One diamond-shaped object, about 300 feet across, was observed in clear weather by several witnesses at a mountain for five minutes (Whitney). A low humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
