11 July 1981 Around 2200 Byron, Illinois, USA 
Camp Director incident.
Dogs barked, swimming pool water pump stopped. UFO right above pool, brilliant light. Whirring noise rising in pitch. 30,000 gallons of water missing. Water not chlorinated. An object was observed. Gravity effects were noted. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One light was observed by one witness at a camp for 5.5 minutes. A whirring sound was heard.
