USAF F-86D incident.
F-86D at 26000 feet alt, unsuccessfully chased nocturnal light. Nocturnal light turned with aircraft, outmaneuvered it, passed under, climbed to 30000 feet and came directly over jet 15000 feet above. Abandoned chase due to lack of fuel. An object was sighted that had an appearance and aerobatic performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One ball was observed by one experienced male military witness for ten minutes. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 433: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
