USAF F-82 incident. Explanation: Balloon.
Project Blue Book "unidentified" case. Amber light makes three 360 degree loops, buzzes F-82. Unusual objects were sighted, that had unconventional appearance and aerobatic performance.More than one amber light was observed by several military witnesses at an airfield.
Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights
Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
