Police incident.
Officers from eight police departments pursue and photograph a huge, triangular object. Object "jumps" an estimate 20 miles in seconds. Scott AFB claims they did not see object. An unidentified object was sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. One multi-colored triangle, about 300 feet across, was observed by several male witnesses, one of them an experienced observor, as reported to the police, on a golf course for a few minutes (Noll; Stevens).
