4 November 1867 After 1500 Chatham, UK 
Smoke. Large number of black discs in groups and scattered passed rapidly through the air. Procession continued for over 20 minutes. Several groups passed overhead, vanished leaving brown smoke-like vapor.
Unidentified objects were sighted, but with appearance and behavior that most likely would have a conventional explanation. Physiological effects were noted. Many black discs were observed by three witnesses at a lake (Beveridge, J). No sound was heard.
