27 January 1990 After 1900 Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, USA 
Yellowish blue light appeared near plane. Descended in northeast direction, leveled off at 3000', flew at same altitude for several hundred yards, changed direction to the south.
A fireball was observed. One yellow-blue light was observed by one experienced male witness (Iodice, J). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Other sightings in this area Sources: - 737 |
