In August 1986 Night Southern Us, Mississippi R E, USA 
Light show characterized variously as pinpoint of light, glowing cloud, big ball of fire, seen over wide area. Not rocket launch or barium-release experiments.
Unidentified but otherwise conventional objects were sighted. More than one luminous cloud-like object was observed by several witnesses for over five minutes (Sabatini). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: AN1: Anomalies which have no lasting physical effects. i.e. amorphous lights, unexplained explosions. Other sightings in this area Sources: - 737 |
