P-51 Mustang incident. Explanation: Mirage.

Two technical sergeants of 635th AC&W squadron saw dull, glowing, blue-green ball, size of dime at arms' length. Flew very fast, straight and level.


Objects were tracked by radar and sighted visually.

10 green fireballs were observed by six male military witnesses, three of them an experienced observors, in a warplane for over 60 minutes (Diamond; Walstead).


Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports
Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
Vallee reliability rating: 432: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
