2 November 2002 Night Grand Isle, Vermont, USA 
Huge domed UFO with light on top, green lights rotating below. Flies off Lake Champlain at low altitude, circles house, moves away, then back, hovers a few minutes 50 feet away. Yellow-white beam shines down onto lake. Shot up very rapidly.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One green domed disc, of huge size, was observed by five witnesses at a lake for a few seconds. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
