Cessna 172 incident.
Near collision with 3' long metallic football, shot by left wing 30 feet away. Seen by flight instructor and passenger. An object was observed. It buzzed a witness. One metallic football-shaped object, about 5 feet across, about fifty feet away, was observed in clear weather by two male witnesses, typical age 34, for 18 seconds. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
