Cigar takes off from road outside town. (Anonymous phone report.)
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One cigar-shaped object was observed by one male 60-year-old witness on a road for over one minute. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
