RAF Vampire incident. Explanation: Planet.
Radar-visual confirmation. 200 feet diameter white metallic orb at 60,000 feet altitude. Viewed through theodolite. Strong radar return. Hovered for 10 minutes. An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. One white disc, about 300 feet across, was observed by seven male military witnesses, two of them an experienced observors, on a river for over ten minutes (Jeffrey; Johnson).
