In August 1952 22:00 Aytona, Spain 
On country road two men saw flash of lightning and a sphere appear 100 m. away, rise from ground in 10 seconds. 1.5 m. in dia, glowed green and glue diffuse light.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One green ball, about 5 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed by two male witnesses, typical age 20, on a road for 12 seconds (Vilardell). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 332: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
