4 June 1955 : Melville Sound, Northwest Territories, Canada 
USAF RB-47 incident.
National Security Agency RB-47 re-fitted bomber had radar-visual contact with disc-shaped UFO for 9 minutes near north Magnetic Pole. An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually and videotaped. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One silver disc was observed by a male military witness in a warplane for ten minutes. Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
