Instrumented observation
Objects were observed using optical instruments. A group of objects, about 20 feet across, was observed in snowy weather by a group of witnesses at a mine for 30 seconds (Lennartz). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
