Brilliant orange glowing hat-shaped disc at 15-10m altitude. Flies to the north silently. Separate observer in same area.
An object was sighted by multiple independent witnesses that had an appearance and aerobatic performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One orange domed disc was observed in a residential area for two minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
