3m diameter sphere lands in field near woods. 16cm webbed footprints found at site. Explanation: Hoax.
An object was observed. Ground traces were found. One sphere, about 10 feet across, was observed in a forest for two minutes. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness.
