11 November 1978 Night Libertad, Uruguay 
Farm laborer saw UFO over onion field, horse and dog react with fear, ran away. 5m diameter circular trace, onion completely burned, roots dehydrated. Several other reports at other times.
An object was observed. Occupants of the craft were seen. Ground traces were found. One object, about 20 feet across, was observed on a farm (Diaz).
