T-33 Military Pilot incident. A bright metallic object was interecepted by an Air Force aircraft, filmed, and photographed. Explanation: French Mir stratospheric balloon launched from the Instituto de Pesquisas Meteorológicas in Bauru, Brazil.
A bright metallic object was seen hovering at great height. It was filmed by television crews and photographed. The air force sent a T-33 plane to identify it, but the pilot reported he could not catch up with the object. The brilliant metallic sphere paced T33 trainer at a distance for two minutes. Seen from Tolata, Cochabamba, El Alto and La Paz. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky.
