10 September 1978 Night Tacuarembo, Uruguay 
Oval-shaped object with many small rings of light. Gave off intense luminosity of multi colors: red, white, blue, yellow, white. Changed intensity. People tried to signal it with car lights but no response.
An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One multi-colored oval object was observed by 200 witnesses in a city (Cobas). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
