Dark object with flat ends hovered.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One domed disc was observed in partly cloudy weather by four male witnesses, typical age 45, on the prairie for ten minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
