Silent orange ball of light 350 feet over power pole. Went to the northeast at 35mph. Investigated by Professor east. Zeller
A hovering object was observed. One orange ball, around 300 feet away, was observed by one experienced male witness (as reported to the police) at an electric plant for over three minutes (Philips, J). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 343: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
