Deputy sheriff and wife and four others in other cars, blinding light paces sheriff's car, prevents passage, SR43, forces detour on SR148.
An object was observed from a car. One white light was observed by six witnesses (as reported to the police) on a highway for over 20 minutes (Hendsbee). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
