Local television interference. Nocturnal lights and discs. Witness mesmerized. Explanation: Aircraft.
A hovering object was observed. Physiological effects were noted. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One disc, about 80 feet across, was observed in clear weather by three male witnesses, typical age 24, in a town for over four minutes (Bodwell; Ellis; Feener, N; Horsman; Jenson; Lerra; MacKenney; Robichaud, D; Stevens). A noise was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness.
