Animal reaction: dogs bark. Very bright cigar-shaped object 20 feet over yard. three legs underneath object. Shot straight up.
A hovering object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One bright cigar-shaped object, about fifty feet away, was observed by one witness in a yard for two minutes. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
