9 October 1970 Night Ilkeston, UK 
Shiny white disc seen from bedroom window. Hovered, suddenly moved horizontally to left, then to right and back again before disappearing a few minutes later.
A hovering object was observed. One white disc was observed by two witnesses, a married couple, in a residential area for a few minutes (Brocklesby). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
