EM: radio failure and dimming of cabin lights. Conical UFO, 230 feet across with blue light, funnel shaped bottom with red light, flashed brilliant colors. Shot up vertically.
Objects were observed from a car. They departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. Electromagnetic effects were noted. Two multi-colored cone-shaped objects, about 300 feet across, were observed by several witnesses in-flight for over 60 minutes (Sanvitti). Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO. Vallee reliability rating: 333: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
