An object was observed. Occupants of the craft were seen. Ground traces were found. One ovoid object, about 10 feet across, was observed by three female children in a residential area for 40 minutes (Palmer). One being was seen.

Kathy Palmer, 14, looked out the window before going to bed and saw a luminous object bearing red and blue lights on the lawn. About 6 ft long, 4 ft wide, and 4 ft high, it made a "rattling" sound. From a square hatchway, two 5 ft tall, slender occupants emerged, who had "large heads" (perhaps wearing helmets) and who walked about, apparently talking to each other, and examined some bicycles. Then they returned to the craft and took off. She watched for about 30 minutes in all. At the landing site the grass was matted down, and there was a white substance, which proved to be calcium phosphate.
