ANG incident. Explanation: Reflection.
Lens shaped disc, brightly polished aluminum. one airborne witness and 7 on ground. Seen against mountain, estimated diameter 50-60', maybe more. moved out of sight 70 degrees in seconds, "beyond any known jet.." A flying disc was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. Multiple independent witnesses. One aluminum disc, about 80 feet across, was observed in clear weather by nine military witnesses, seven of them an experienced observors, at an airport for over six minutes (Harris). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 443: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
