Blue ball of light paces motorist along deserted highway well after midnight. It stopped six times, whenever car stopped. Driver felt scared to death. Other witnesses saw similar object. Explanation: Planet.
An object was observed from a car. Multiple independent witnesses. One blue ball was observed by more than one male witness, one of them an experienced observor, on a highway for 30 minutes (James). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
