Two women encounter large (size of helicopter) round object with red, white, yellow lights. Paced car, crossing highway 200m in front. When truck approach it spewed mist, sped away but came back. Over bay. Explanation: Planet.
An object was observed from a car. One orange crescent-shaped object, around 500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by two female witnesses, typical age 34, on the shore for 90 minutes (Collins). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
