Several independent witnesses. Dark metallic domed ovoid 120 feet overhead. Strong beam. Goes to the southeast of valley.
An object was sighted by multiple independent witnesses that had an appearance and aerobatic performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One metallic domed oval object was observed by two experienced male witnesses (as reported to the police) in a town for 20 minutes (Jones, B). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
