In February 1996 19:25 Dundee, Broughty Ferry, UK 
Lenticular disc with red, blue and white lights around rim. Craft shone beam of light, abruptly floodlit the area, hovered over three 12-yr-olds. They fled.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored disc was observed by three witnesses, typical age 12, at a park for five minutes (Stewart; Willis). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
