UFO with blue lights and light green hue, approached car at low height above ground. Driver stopped car, signalled with headlights. UFO responded by flashing its lights.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One blue object was observed by more than three witnesses, typical age 35, on a highway for a few minutes (Ponce, J). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
