Electromagnetic effect: engine, lights, radio, windshield wipers, heater died, CB radio "acted up." 20 feet wide disc-shaped object with pink-orange halo, 200 feet in front, over power lines. Pickup restarted when UFO left.
An object was observed. Electromagnetic effects were noted. One orange disc, about 20 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in overcast weather by one male 43-year-old witness at an electric plant for over two minutes (McCool, L). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness.
