Biologist incident.
1.5m diameter disc overhead. Ringed with lights. Grinding noise. Descends into garden only 1m away, 1m altitude, plants dehydrated, withered. An object was observed. Traces found. One metallic disc, about 5 feet across, about two feet away, was observed in clear weather by one male 30-year-old witness in a garden for 20 minutes (Henri, Pierre). A grinding sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 444: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
