In April 1995 01:00 Edinburgh Apt, UK 
Pilot reports ATC radar monitored UFO hovering near airport. Visual confirmation by cargo plane. three Tornado jets scrambled, white light at 2500', shot straight up.
A hovering object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One white light was observed by one experienced male witness at an airport (Ray, I). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
