Large oval object hovered over car, causing headlights to dim, engine to cut out. Strange "force-field" surrounded men, leading to physiological effects later. Car engine restarted spontaneously.
An object was observed. Electromagnetic and physiological effects were noted. One metallic oval object, about 150 feet across, was observed in cloudy weather by two experienced male witnesses in a city for five minutes (Grimshaw). A humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness. Vallee reliability rating: 233: Reliable source,secondhand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
