Mist, fog, vapor. Silent 40 feet cylinder-cigar in red mist, seen for 30 seconds, 0.5 miles away.
A cigar-shaped object was observed. One red cigar-shaped object, about 40 feet across, around 2500 feet away, was observed by one witness in a town for 30 seconds. No sound was heard.
