Long cigar with two tail fins, red lights at front and aft, white lights on top of each of two fins.
A cigar-shaped object was observed. One multi-colored cigar-shaped object, about 300 feet across, was observed by 16 male witnesses on a road for 30 minutes (Dineur; Eben; Montpellier). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 333: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
