4 October 1975 Night Eugene, Oregon, USA 
Viewed through telescope. Object at tree-top level, one mile away. Moved back-and-forth, changed elevation slightly, bathed trees in pale green light. Viewed for 45 minutes, shot up out of sight fast.
An object was observed. It moved with a falling-leaf motion. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One green object was observed by eight witnesses for 45 minutes. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
