Fog, smoke: Silver disc shaped objects emitted "smoke screen," darted rapidly, ejected smaller satellite objects that disperse in all directions.
Objects were sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. More than five silver discs were observed by five witnesses in a residential area for 45 minutes (Thompson). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
