50 feet diameter glowing disc. Made fast stops and maneuvers. Shot thousands of feet in a second. Beam of light directed down to ground. Explanation: Balloon.
An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One luminous disc, about 80 feet across, was observed in a residential area for five minutes (Winchester). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
