Witness walking downtown heard loud buzzing noise, looked up, saw very large triangular shape lit up by 100s of small lights. Object shone light beam downwards (beam fell short by 20 feet). Tilted, very rapidly ascended into the sky.
Objects were observed. They departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. Numerous triangles were observed by one witness for over one minute. A buzzing sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
