Cattle Rancher incident.
Object 100 feet diameter, with concave sides having portholes in center of each side, gave off yellow-green light. Hovered 25' above ground, rapidly to the southwest. Made sound like wire whirled in circle at high speed. An object was observed. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One yellow-green disc, about 150 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed by one male witness on a farm for a few minutes (Arrieta; Bland). A whirling sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 343: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
